He carves out his own art road in the gem world; he respects tradition and exceeds tradition; he studies theory and develops theory; he lets his mind go in the art world; he endows jadeite and gem with life meaning; he guides your imagination and brings out your understanding on the life through his charming, inspired works.  There are two half-length statues of Deng Xiaoping on a Tianjing Stone with natural loess land pattern. One is 16 years old Xiaoping as a student in France; the orther is great Xiaoping as the general designer of reforms and openign. This works calls forth people's reminiscences with its profound historical topic. It also speaks out the people's deep feelings on Xiaoping, like saying: "Xiaoping, take care! (the title)". Red as the chicken blood, blood stone is the magic creation of the nature, which is favoured and collected by collectors. Nobody has ever think of using scarlet blood to present the bloody Nanjing Massacre, to show the Japanese forces' appling crime; but he did. Smartly using the red part of the stone, he showed the extremely inhuman "Massacre" by carving out the scarlet blood, bodies here and there, fierce Japanese soldiers with swords in hands. At the front left lower part of the works, integrated with colours of yellow, white and gray, an ancient tower in a bloody surroundings is carved to show the massacre venue--Najing, which adds the finishing touch and highlights the topic. With a combination of shallow and deep carving and a genuine arrangement of large area red and gray black parts, the works records the shocking atrocity of Japanese forces and shows extreme outrage to Japanese Government's denial on invading China. |

natural colours and shapes of jades to indicate perfect topics and
eternal beauty so as to bring the works a vivid life. Beauty has
been one of the life topics pursued by mankind for many centuries.
But the world is diversified; beauty and ugliness, truth and false,
goodness and evil exist together. With wild thoughts and exquisite
art language, he explores to interpret a social, historical,
multi-cultural world. He resorts to the ancient Chinese jade craft of Qiaose, and develops it into a superb stage, just as Yang Boda saying: "there suddenly appeared a group of good Qiaose works in the 1990s, which can be called as a miracle in today's jade world." For this, he was awarded with honourable title of "Chinese Folk Craft Artist" by UNESCO and Chinese Folk Artist Association. People begin to ask for his name while in fact his name has been spread fast through the publication of his own works collection, which spends over 1million and includes 300 pieces of fine works. Shi
Bingmou, born in 1950 in Jinjiang of Fujian Province, went to Hong Kong in 1973 and began to learn painting and carving.
Talented as he is, he absorbs art soul from plenty of books, ancient
and modern, Chinese and foreign; improves himself with edifying
Chinese traditional culture; accepts the baptism of Western art
styles and combines them with Chinese
culture during his creative work. In such a way his carving career
is firmly built. He is obsessed with the dazzling blaze and overwhelming temptation of gems, for the whole nature was compacted in the cute gems. He plays a full use of his outstanding crafts and noble interest to bring forth colourful flowers on the jades, which is pure and edifying for people.
